Advancing freshwater restoration

Mark was selected for a Showcase because of his experience in community engagement and grass roots conservation action. He has overseen the development of a community led river conservation association into an internationally recognised charity and helps new river trusts form and deliver grass roots conservation action.

Dr. Micheal O’Cinneide was selected as a Recreating Freshwater Showcase because of his work with the Correb Beo community organization and his long career at the Irish EPA pioneering new ways of organizing  effective freshwater restoration.
